Angela Hemmes

Angela Hemmes joined Synergy Capital of Colorado as Director of Operations, bringing more than two decades of financial services experience spanning institutional fixed income, branch operations, and wealth management.

Her career began at Southwest Securities in Fort Lauderdale, where she spent more than a decade supporting institutional fixed income trading across investment-grade and high-yield corporates, agencies, Treasuries, and municipal bonds. She eventually managed the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office operations directly.

Angela spent the following ten years at Merrill Lynch, progressing from Registered Senior Client Associate to Market Client Relationship Manager at the Vice President level.  In that role, she led a team of client associates and operations staff across a multi-state market, managed audit readiness, and oversaw her market’s discretionary budget.

At Synergy Capital, Angela brings that operational depth to a firm built on the principle that reserve governance is as important as reserve performance.

She holds a BS in Business and Finance from Florida State University and is based in Wellington, Colorado.
