Michael K. Warne, AAMS®, founded Synergy Capital to do one thing:  build the firm that Colorado’s public entities have never had.  Before founding Synergy Capital, Mike spent more than two decades in asset management at major international banks, where he developed the institutional discipline in portfolio construction, policy governance, and fiduciary oversight that now defines how Synergy Reserve is built and run.

His background is in industrial engineering, and the Kaizen discipline of continuous improvement still shapes how the firm maintains investment programs:  structured, documented, and designed to hold up under scrutiny.

Mike also served as a Crew Chief on a U.S. Air Force KC-135.  He grew up as an Army kid.  Both gave him a straightforward set of operating principles: precision, accountability, and do what you said you would do.

He has called Colorado home since 2000.  His wife Tracy and their daughters are Colorado natives.  When he is not at a board meeting somewhere in the state, you will find Mike following Formula 1, traveling Europe, or recharging on St. John, USVI.
